Align Pilates is excited to be hosting its second annual wellness retreat in Nosara, Costa Rica. Two talented instructors will guide you through a week of Pilates, Yoga, and Meditation to help you become in tune with your natural rhythms. Set to a beautiful backdrop of a tranquil beach community, lush with tropical greenery, you will experience the ultimate mind and body connection. Everyday you will experience a morning meditation and Yoga class followed by an afternoon Pilates class, and the days are yours to experience all that Nosara has to offer.
Hotel Information
The Harmony Hotel is the most intimate and refined resort that Nosara has to offer. Set in the middle of a jungle wonderland, the hotel has a ranch-like feel that incorporates Cocos rooms, and free standing bungalows that open up to a path, winding you into Playa Guiones at the Pacific Ocean. www.harmonynosara.com
Cocos Rooms and Bungalows
The Cocos rooms are located on both sides of the swimming pool and central garden. The Bungalows are spread throughout the properties gardens. These private getaways are larger than the Cocos.

Align Pilates has reserved 12 seats on U.S. Air from Minneapolis and taxis to and from Nosara for $935.
Class Schedule:
Meditation - 7:30am - 8:00am S - F
Yoga - 8:00 am - 9:30 am S - F
Pilates - 4:00pm - 5:00pm S - F
Prana Stretch - 5:15pm - 6:15pm T & Th
There will be no Pilates on Wednesday. Extra activities can be arranged by contacting the hotel directly. Activities include; Surfing, Horseback riding, Canopy Tours and more.

The Align Pilates? Wellness Retreat is a combination of Pilates, Yoga, Meditation and Prana Stretch. The classes are designed to compliment each other using alignment, breath, and strength as the foundation for freer movemet.
Pilates
Pilates classes will focus on the classical Pilates Method of Joseph H. Pilates. Students
will learn the six principles of Pilates and how they relate to each exercise. An understanding of proper breathing coupled with tools on accessing inner strength, will leave the student stretched, strengthened and invigorated.
Yoga
Combining the traditional alignment of the postures with the grace of the breath, your practice will leave you equally invigorated and relaxed. Classes will focus on basic asana (posture) alignment principles and pranayama (breathing) techniques.
Prana Stretch
Prana Stretch is a class designed to help you breath, meditate, and stretch. The class is small and intimate while two instructors guide you through a series of stretches and assist you deeper into the stretch with hands on assistance and massage. This class will leave you relaxed and calm.

Adrienne Guze
Pilates Instructor
Adrienne has been teaching Pilates since 1999. She studied and completed her certification at the renowned Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado. She began her Pilates journey to further her professional dance career in Chicago where she continued to teach until 2002. At this time she relocated to Minneapolis and then decided to take her studies and teaching abroad where she landed in Paris, France. Shortly after her return she opened Align Pilates in Minneapolis in October of 2003. Adrienne’s teaching style incorporates the classical Pilates Method using breath as the foundation for movement. Her classes will help you get up on a surfboard!
Angie Clifford
Yoga amd Pilates Instructor
Angie Clifford received her Yoga Certification in 1997 from The Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago, Illinois. Following her Yoga studies Angie pursued a certification in the Pilates Method. She continued to teach Yoga and Pilates in Chicago until 2002. It was then that Angie and her family decided to relocate to Minneapolis, Minnesota. At this time Angie joined in on the brain power to create Align Pilates. Angie’s dynamic teaching style incorporates the philosophies of Yoga, Pilates, & Gyrotonic. Her classes are open to all levels of movement.
