Class Descriptions:
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep. It is a state of conscious Deep Sleep. In Meditation, you remain in the Waking state of consciousness, and gently focus the mind, while allowing thought patterns, emotions, sensations, and images to arise and go on. However, in Yoga Nidra, you leave the Waking state, go past the Dreaming state, and go to Deep Sleep, yet remain awake. While Yoga Nidra is a state that is very relaxing, it is also used by Yogis to purify the Samskaras, the deep impressions that are the driving force behind Karma
Let Your Yoga Dance
It is an amazing Chakra Fusion! A joy-filled power dance combining yoga, the breath, and user-friendly dance with fabulous music from all around the world. It is a funky, sacred, inspirational dance of the multi-dimensional self, bringing tons of fun and healing to body, mind, spirit. Let Your Yoga Dance® is for every single body and wonderful for all ages.
Self Awakening Yoga
Awakening to the Greater Dimensions of the Self
We gain a better understanding of the Self by inviting the body and mind to live in the present moment. It is in this slowing down where synchronicity will begin to arise and the channels of communication through out the organism will start to light up. By dropping into this field of consciousness, it allows us to attune to the various sensations that will emerge. We then begin to experience what the body has to teach us. The wisdom of Prana will start to show up as our trusted friend and inner guide. ‘Prana’ is the life force energy that animates the entire universe.
With in this master class using gravity as our friend, we will explore therapeutic movement inquiries, conscious breathing, full body scanning and awareness of sensation through internal scanning (the AS IS principle, Don Stapleton, PhD) Through out this workshop you will travel through your multi- dimensional being and experience your limitless creative Self.
