Gym Bag 1, Odor 0

Monday, July 6th, 2009

The miscellaneous items that stores put at the checkout lines generally prove to be worthless impulse buys for the customer yet added dollars earned for the corporate money mongers. Although I must say I am very pleased with the last minute purchase I made the other day at Target. While waiting in line, I browsed the rack of things-I-don’t-need and came across a vanilla scented sachet. My gym bag immediately came to mind. As the second session of Boot Camp approaches, my over-the-shoulder traveling closet could use a breath of fresh air. This little thing has turned digging into my gym bag a visit to the perfumery rather than a trip through a dirty locker room.

Some days it’s the little things that make me the happiest.
