Is Align Pilates a licensed school?

Yes. The Align Pilates Teacher Certification program is a licensed private career school in the State of Minnesota. Pilates certification programs must be licensed in the State of Minnesota.

What Equipment and at what level will I be certified to teach upon graduation?

Graduates will be certified on ALL equipment; mat work, reformer, low chair (wunda chair), Cadillac (trapeze table), ped –a- pul, and the barrel systems. Graduates will be able to teach all levels.

Will Align Pilates help me with job placement upon graduation?

When we need teachers we hire directly from our program, however we do not officially offer job placement upon graduation. We are part of a network of local studios that come to us for certified instructors who need jobs.

What is the 450-hour internship? How many hours should I expect to put towards my internship each week in order to finish in the time allotted?

Students should be prepared to set aside 7-12 internship hours per week in order to finish the program in 12 months. Students make up their own hours. See syllabus for complete breakdown.

What if I cannot finish the program in the time allotted?

Extension passes may be purchased for those who need more time to complete the requirements. Extension passes are $300/month.

Can I enroll in the program if I work a full time job?

Yes. Part of the program is scheduled and we do schedule during evenings and weekends to make it accessible for people with jobs and family’s. For the internship portion of the program student’s schedule their hours around their own personal schedule.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. We offer a payment plan. See contract for more information.

Can I receive student rates on a loan through the bank?

Yes. Because we are a licensed private career school, students qualify for student loan rates at their bank.
